Al-Fatwa Sports Club

One of the oldest sports clubs in Syria, it was founded in Deir ez-Zor in 1930 under the name "Ghazi Club" before changing its name to its current one. The club is nicknamed "Al-Azuri Al-Deiri" and is known for its large fan base and its impressive record of local championships, especially in the league and the Republic Cup competitions.
