Deir ez-Zor Archaeological Museum

One of the largest regional museums in Syria, it houses approximately 25,000 rare artifacts documenting the history of human habitation in the Syrian Jazeera region from the Stone Age (such as the archaeological site of Buqrus) to the Islamic era.
