A volcanic hill of great historical and strategic importance, located in the western countryside of Daraa Governorate in the Hauran region of southern Syria. It gained historical renown as the capital of the Ghassanids and was the site of the famous "Conference of Jabiyah" during the reign of Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab, which aimed to organize the affairs of Islamic Syria.
