Kingdom of Ebla (Tell Mardikh)
One of the oldest and most important ancient Syrian kingdoms of the Bronze Age, located in the Idlib countryside, it became world-famous for the discovery of its massive royal archive containing thousands of cuneiform tablets, which changed historians' understanding of the history of the ancient Near East.
