The confluence of the two rivers east is one of the most famous natural tourist destinations in the Tartous countryside and is located specifically near the town of Mashta al-Helou and about 18 km from the city of Safita. The area was named as such due to the confluence of two water tributaries that together form one river flowing amidst charming mountainous nature. There are direct water seating areas where tables and popular chairs are located directly on the banks of the river and within the cool shallow water. The place is surrounded by towering mountains and lush trees that shade the entire seating area.
