Ibn Wardan Palace

A unique Byzantine archaeological complex built in the sixth century AD during the reign of Emperor Justinian I, it features an architectural style that combines black basalt and yellow brick, and is famous for the legend of mixing its building clay with rose water so that it smells good when it rains.
