The Anbar Office is the largest historical palace in Damascus, built in 1867. Originally a private residence, it was transformed into the renowned "Sultan's Office" school, which produced many of Damascus's leading figures. Located in the heart of Old Damascus, it is distinguished by its vast size and decorations that blend Arab and European styles. Today, it serves as the headquarters of the Old Damascus Directorate.
