Khan As'ad Pasha al-Azm

Khan As'ad Pasha is an icon of Ottoman architecture in Damascus, built in the 18th century and distinguished by its spacious courtyard covered by nine massive domes and ablaq (black and white stone) decorations. It was once the largest station for trade caravans and today serves as a prominent cultural and tourist center in the heart of the Al-Bazouriya Souq.
