Bab Qansarin

Bab Qinnasrin is one of the gates of the ancient city of Aleppo in Syria, built by Sayf al-Dawla al-Hamdani. The name "Qinnasrin" is of Amorite origin and signifies "The Nest of Eagles." This gateway complex consists of four gates: a gate facing the city, * a gate facing the open countryside, * and two gates situated between them in the center.
