Al-Shuaibiya Mosque

It is considered one of the oldest mosques in Islam in the Levant and is located inside the ancient Antioch Gate. It was built on the site of the Roman triumphal arch when the Muslims peacefully conquered Aleppo in 16 AH (637 CE) under the leadership of Abu Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah.
