The National Museum of Aleppo is one of the most significant museums in Syria. Established in 1931 in the city of Aleppo, the museum houses a wealth of important archaeological treasures pertaining to the history of the Aleppo Governorate as well as world history. Furthermore, this museum is considered one of the world's foremost museums in terms of the artifacts dating back to the pre-Christian era that are housed within its wings.
