Start your day early by heading to the western Hama countryside and the ancient Masyaf Castle. Explore the historic castle's passageways perched on the rock and capture stunning panoramic photos of the surrounding mountains and green plains. Then, head to Wadi al-Uyun, the verdant valley famous for its springs and cascading waterfalls. Enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants or cafes situated directly along the watercourses and waterfalls, and breathe in the fresh air. Finally, go to the heart of the city and take a stroll through the historic al-Tawafra neighborhood with its traditional alleyways and old houses. Then, head directly to the banks of the Orontes River at the waterwheels of Umm al-Hassan Park to enjoy the famous sound of the waterwheels and take memorable photos.
