Fernlock forests

It extends over vast areas and is the largest continuous tree cluster in Syria.It contains more than 200 plant species, most notably the long-lived Brutian pine trees and the rare Euphorbia oak.Natural springs and streams flow among the trees, scattered throughout the area.It is home to many wild animals and birds such as squirrels and deer.
